Subscription Terms

Free trial

Every new account starts with a 3-day free Shorts trial. No credit card is required to sign up. You can transcribe videos during the trial as if you were a paid subscriber, subject to fair-use limits.

Price

Shorts costs $5 per calendar month after the 3-day trial. Creator Pro costs $29.99 per calendar month starting on signup. Prices are in U.S. dollars and exclude any applicable sales tax.

Billing cycle

Once you add a payment method and activate the paid plan, your card is charged $5 immediately and every month on the same date thereafter. If your billing date does not exist in a given month (e.g. the 31st), you'll be billed on the last day of that month instead.

Fair-use limits

Shorts includes videos up to 60 seconds each with a monthly fair-use limit on total uploads. Creator Pro includes 60 transcription minutes per month with videos up to 60 minutes each. Files are limited to 500 MB regardless of plan. Occasional overages may be accommodated at our discretion.

Failed payments

If a payment fails, we'll retry a few times over the following week and email you. If the payment cannot be collected, the subscription pauses until a valid payment method is added.

Refunds

We don't offer prorated refunds for partial months. If you believe you were charged in error, email support@vidscriptly.com within 14 days.

Price changes

If we ever change the price, we'll notify you at least 30 days before your next renewal.
